This course will provide an overview of critical issues in the field of public health and health promotion as well as concepts of health and health education and contributions of health care professionals in a variety of settings.Health Promotion Track: HLT 1353 and 3 credit hours of Life & Physical Sciences, or; 3 credit hours of Life & co-enrollment in HLT 1353. Public Health majors do not need HLT 1353.
